Integration Guide
Our MailChimp integration makes it so that all leads generated by your Wright Brothers Recruiting account can be automatically loaded into your MailChimp account in real time. You must be a client of both Wright Brothers Recruiting and MailChimp in order for this integration to work. To set this up please follow the detailed step by step below.
1 Obtain Your API Key
Whilst logged into your Mailchimp account, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Account section (1)
- Inside the extras tab (2), select API Keys
- Create a key (3), this will automatically generate a API Key for you, at the top of the list you will see the newest API Key
- Copy the API Key (4)
2 Choose your Audience ID
Whilst logged into your Mailchimp account, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Audience tab
- View the audience list you wish to use from the current audience dropdown
- Open the Settings drop down and click “audience name and defaults”
- In the Audience ID section, you’ll see a string of letters and numbers. This is your audience ID
- Copy the Audience ID
3 Link MailChimp with Wright Brothers
While logged into your Lead Management System, navigate to Brokerage Settings within the main settings tab, then paste your Mailchimp API Key into the Mailchimp API field and click 'Save Settings'.
Once this is complete, every lead generated through your Wright Brothers Recruiting website will automatically be loaded into your Lead Management System, as well as your Mailchimp audience list. This won't affect how your leads are currently sent to you by Wright Brothers Recruiting, and is only an additional integration to your existing system to make things easier.
